I’m Matthew, and as CEO of our multi-academy Trust, it’s my privilege to welcome you. Our Trust is a community of nine primary schools in Yorkshire, all working together to inspire excellence in everyone. We want the best academic results for all our children. We’re passionate about developing children as whole people. Our approach, which we call CHAT, focuses on ensuring children are conversationally confident, produce high-quality work, attain well at every stage, and are technically fluent in what they do. This ensures every child is ready for their next step in education. We are ambitious for every pupil, from all backgrounds and starting points, ensuring they can all achieve, feel successful, and be happy in what they do.
Our vision is simple yet ambitious: “Excellence in every outcome”. We achieve this through our core values: Support, Collaboration, Innovation, and Excellence. We are inspired by tradition. We use the traditional Maypole dance to symbolise how we work together to create something we can all be proud of. This isn’t just about what’s happening inside our schools; we believe our schools should reflect the rich culture of their local communities, with strong links to parents and the wider community.
We offer a broad, ambitious, and vibrant curriculum, enabling pupils to achieve high standards across all subjects. Our youngest pupils get the very best start through our excellent early years provision, and we celebrate the arts, striving for high-quality outcomes for all our pupils in these areas. We want our pupils to be knowledgeable, kind, and healthy, recognising the important role they play as local citizens.
